12 Month Warranty

In addition to the Consumer Law, Refurbished Golf Caddies units are supported by a 12-month warranty from your original purchase date against defects and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the device repaired or replaced by Refurbished Golf Caddies if the device fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This excludes faults caused through mis-use or mis-treatment of the device.

30 Day Warranty

In addition to the Consumer Law, Refurbished Golf Caddies accessories are supported by a 30 day warranty from your original purchase date against defects and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the accessory repaired or replaced by Refurbished Golf Caddies if the accessory fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This excludes faults caused through mis-use or mis-treatment of the accessory.

What will be covered during the Warranty period?

Our warranty covers all product defects (hardware and software) that compromise functionality at the point of sale, up until the end of your warranty period. In case the unit is not repairable, the replacement unit will be the same or higher model in that product range. The color of the replacement unit will depend upon what is available in stock and might differ from original order in case exact color is not available.

What is NOT covered?

Our warranty does not cover any damage caused by the customer or third-parties. This can be including, but not limited to, any physical damage (external or internal which includes damage to the screen which might not show on the casing of the unit), battery wear and tear, installing third-party software and liquid damage caused by the customer or a third-party are not covered by the limited warranty. If the unit is found to show signs of any of the above-mentioned scenarios it will be returned to you without repair. The 12 Month Warranty is void in the following instances:

  • Any alteration performed by non-authorized people or companies.
  • Fitting of parts or accessories not recommended by Refurbished Golf Caddies.
  • Any damage caused by continued operation of the product after it is known to be defective.
  • Damage to the seat and/or seat support bracket on the unit.
  • Damage caused by partial or complete ingress of water into motor/gearbox and other major components.
  • Damage caused by the unit being driven into bunkers, other course hazards or clubhouse and carpark hazards.
  • Damage caused by golf balls or golf clubs.
  • Application of external force to any part of the unit or battery.
  • Fusion of motor or electronics through overload or continual stationary operation.
  • Cracked screen or physical damaged beyond existing damage to caddy before purchase
  • Water damaged
  • Fire damage
  • Electrical damage
  • Chemical damage
  • Software that has been tampered with
  • Normal wear and tear; (e.g. tyres, rubber handlebar, elastic straps, paintwork, battery performance, axles threads, charging ports on batteries and remotes, screen glass etc.)
  • Minor appearance defects which bear no effect on the operation of the unit and are considered by the manufacturer to be within the accepted standards.
  • Customer has failed to take reasonable steps to avoid the quality becoming unacceptable
  • Customer has used the product abnormally

All implied warranties [save those preserved by statute] are excluded. Liability for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded to the extent exclusion is permitted by law.

Please contact us should your unit experience issues post-warranty as we can arrange for repairs to be done by Refurbished Golf Caddies or a certified MGI Golf Inc service center.
